Gift Exchange

It's fine to use this blog for non-book club things sometimes...I'm doing the same thing right now :) Kate, before I forget, do you know when you will be in town yet? We need to figure out a date for our gift exchange. I am having a get together at my new house on January 5 (Saturday), and Megs and Sarah both seemed fine with having the gift exchange then. Will you be in NF then?

Which brings me to the topic of this post - I am wondering about the date for the gift exchange - any ideas?

Sorry to use the blog for non-book club stuff, but I found what seems like an unusually effective charity site. It's called HungerSite. If you go there and click on the "Click here - It's FREE" button, their sponsors donate food. The site also has buttons for the rainforest, breast cancer and other causes.

I am very sorry guys, but I am having a hard time getting through White Teeth. I haven't had alot of time to read, and while I enjoy reading it when I have time, I don't think I'm going to get it done :-( When was there supposed to be a meeting again - Maybe I can do my best to read as much as I can before then...
