I am currently on a re-reading old favorites kick - just finished American Gods by Neil Gaiman, now on Anansi Boys, a squeal sort of to American Gods. I haven't had much reading time lately - just at lunch and on the bus (not that I have been taking it lately). I am in moderate knitting mode for Fresh Fish on May 2. Next on my list is to re-read The Time Travelers Wife and move onto Charles De Lint.

I have been on a Jodi Picoult kick for the last little bit. Since we read "My Sister's Keeper" with this book club, I've continued on with "Vanishing Act", "19 Minutes", "The Tenth Circle", "Perfect Match", and am now reading "Mercy".

Each of these books are really interesting and get you thinking about ethical situations from various points of view. My favorites thus far has been "Vanishing Act" and "19 Minutes".

However, I do think it's about time I change my choice of read. I'm finding it really hard to put aside the time to read, and it is taking me FOREVER to finish a book. I'm thinking that maybe a change in subject will get me interested in reading again. So after I finish "Mercy" I plan on starting a vampire series by Charlaine Harris - The Sookie Stackhouse Novels. I haven't read any of them yet, but I got a great deal on the set, and a friend of a friend recommended them, so all the better.

Anyways, I've missed you all very much, and I'm sorry that I haven't posted anything at all :-( I will be home from April 29 to May 9, so we will have to plan something so I can see you all!!!!! Supper, or coffee, or get together at someone's place... hopefully it will work out. Meg, I am working downtown from May 4-7, so maybe we can go for lunch...
