What is everyone reading?

Good idea, Megs! Maybe we could all post what we are currently reading to get some discussion going. Who knows about the future of this book club. I would like to discuss books with you guys in some capacity so this may be a good way to start. In my grade 12 class, I had students read a novel of their choice and give a 5-minute "Book Talk" presentation to the class, all about their thoughts on the book. So maybe we could do a version of the same thing and tell each other about our current book.
Right now I'm reading the fourth book of the "Vampire Diaries" series by L.J. Smith. It's called Dark Reunion, and it is a very similiar series to the Twilight books. These were written in the early 90's, and I read the first book in the series way back then, and they were re-released a couple years ago. The author has written two new books for the series, that just came out in Feb. I'm loving the books, though they are more teen-oriented like Twilight, they have good stories, characters and suspense. There are two vampire brothers who come to a small town unbeknownst to each other, since they haven't spoken in centuries. Funnily enough they are both drawn to the same girl, Elena who resembles the girl they both used to love who turned them into a vampire, though she killed herself because she couldn't choose between them. One brother is good, and the other is evil. These are very easy reads, and I would recommend them if you liked the Twilight series. I have been reading these for the past month or so and I have the next installment ready to go. After that I plan to read "Where the Heart Is" by Billie Letts which is a very different book.
Hopefully the others will read this at some point and share what they're reading! Love and miss you all.

The interest in this blog or book seems to be a low but I thought I would post a recommendation: Gods Behaving Badly by Marie Phillips. I had a few good chuckles and was one of the most interesting books I have read in awhile.
So happy reading - whatever it may be.
