hi guys!

for my inaugural post, I just want to say Hi and that I'm sad that we can't all be sitting around a table in St. John's, drinking tea (or G&Ts) for this. This semester has gone by so quickly so far that it's like 2 jobs just keeping up. I know it'll be Christmas vacation before long and I'll be in St. John's, though.

Lis, you mentioned that it would be my turn to pick a book? well, I read several good ones over the summer and now's my chance to get you all to read one of them too! I really liked "White Teeth" by Zadie Smith. It's fun to read, and it's about a lot of things (and don't worry Lis, it's not violent, although the title kind of makes it sound that way).

So, that's my choice for the book. (yay bookclub).
